The 35 years old Harekrishna Das has finally come back home after being operated in Kolkata as one of his legs was amputated as he was shot by police in his leg on 21st November while during NH block movement by JMC. Police officials fired bullet in his right leg. He was immediately taken to the Dharmanagar District Hospital but his condition was critical after which he was taken to the GB hospital but his proper treatment didn’t take place there as well. Later he was taken to ILS hospital as an arrangement was done by the state government but his treatment was not successful there as well after which he was sent to Rabindranath Thakur Hospital in Kolkata. As the treatment didn’t take place on time hence his righr leg was amputated and he came to his house in Northern Jayashree village of Kanchanpur Subdivision. His parents wife and the neighbors started crying when he came back on Thursday. He is the father of 3 year old girl child. His daughter was very happy to see him but was scared to see his father with one leg. He is the only earning member of his family and his 6 members family now in distress. He is a daily labour and it’s next to impossible to feed them in this condition.
