Three health workers had been admitted to Agartala Government Medical College (AGMC) with complaints of post-Covid vaccination complications are stable. Doctors attending to them said all of them are stable. According to reports, the first case was reported at Udaipur district hospital of Gomai where a multipurpose health worker Himadri Debroy (47) developed fever, cough and breathing complaints a few hours after being administered Covishield. The doctors diagnosed a pulmonary problem and shifted him to AGMC. The second case was detected in Agartala where an ASHA facilitator, Sanchita Daschoudhury (40), was reportedly having weakness and choryza along with fever, cough and respiratory problems after receiving the vaccine on Tuesday. She was shifted to AGMC and doctors said the symptoms were common post-vaccination. The third case was referred from Jirania in eastern Agartala where 36-year-old health worker Piklu Banik complained of abdominal pain after receiving vaccine shots on Tuesday. Banik has also been shifted to AGMC. Meanwhile NHM Tripura Director claims that there is no relation of covid19 vaccine with their illness.
