On September 26, the 10323 sacked teachers will organize a campaign called Bidhan Sabha Chalo Abhiyan.
Informing the press on Saturday on behalf of the sacked teachers Bijoy Krishna Saha said that the Bidhan Sabha Chalo Abhiyan will be organized in front of the Rabindra Shatabarshiki Bhavan at ten in the morning.
He also said that on that day the assembly march will be conducted in a democratic manner.
“We thought government will announce something positive for the 10322 sacked teachers in the first day of the session on September 23. But government remained silent. Till now we have lost 139 of our colleagues” said the sacked teachers.
He also demanded the members of the opposition party to raise the issue of dismissed teachers in the assembly session that day. So that the government is forced to take a supportive role.
Notably the the ongoing Assembly Session which is the last Assembly Session of the present government before 2023 election to end on September 26.
The organized press conference was attended by dismissed teachers Kamal Dev, Dalia Das, Ajay Debbarma and other dismissed teachers.
