14 Workers Dies In Blast In Firecracker Factories In Tamil Nadu While Doing ‘Over Time’

A major accident has occurred in firecracker factories in Tamil Nadu. 14 people reportedly died and many injured due to explosions in two firecracker factories.

This incident happened in Virudhunagar district.

Fourteen people were killed in two separate explosions at firecracker factories in Virudhunagar, Tamil Nadu on Tuesday, police said.

According to the police, the people who lost their lives were working overtime because of Diwali.

Immediately after the blast, police and fire department officials arrived and started the rescue operation.

Let us tell you that on October 9 also, there was a blast in Ariyalur of the state in which 11 people were killed and 3 were injured.

Rescue work is going on at the spot and the death toll is expected to increase. The cause of the blast has not been known till the time of writing the news.

As Diwali approaches, the news of deaths due to firecrackers is definitely worrying. There are also reports of accidents caused by firecrackers from the states of North India.

The question is why such measures are not taken in time to reduce such accidents. The presence of untrained people in factories, working disobeying the rules, lack of safety measures etc. are the reasons due to which innocent people end up on the verge of famine.

Every year there are deaths due to firecrackers reports across the country, but governments and local administration do not take appropriate steps.
