At least 18 people have been injured in a terrible car accident.
The accident took place on Sunday afternoon on Udaipur-Killa Via Chechua road under Gomati District of Tripura.
The accident took place on the way to Amarpur during Parikrama (travel)with Baba Gariya idol which is the prime festival of the tribal community (Debbarma) of Tripura
According to the report this accident happened when the car lost control while taking a turn.
Condition of two of the injured is critical as last report came in and, they have been sent to Gomati District Hospital for better treatment.
The rest are undergoing treatment at Amarpur subdivisional hospital.
