A total of 372 vacancies have been drawn for the post of Chargeman in Indian Navy.
Online applications can be made for the recruitment through the Indian Navy website www.joinindiannavy.gon.in.
The candidates selected for the post will be posted in units under the administrative control of Headquarters Western Naval Command, Mumbai, Headquarters Eastern Naval Command, Visakhapatnam, Headquarters Southern Naval Command, Kochi and Headquarters Andaman and Nicobar Command, Port Blair.
Navy Chargeman- The educational qualification prescribed for the various posts under this is a degree in Science with Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics from a recognized University or Diploma in Engineering or related trade in the subject from a University or Board.
Chargeman-11 will be done in Group B under General Central Service. These recruitments will be non-gazetted and non-ministerial.
The selected candidates for these posts will be paid under the pay scale Level-6 in the pay matrix, which will be between Rs 35 thousand 400 to Rs 1 lakh 12 thousand 400.

The age limit of the candidates applying for these posts should be between 18-25 years.
The age limit will be determined on the basis of matriculation issued by the competent authority of the education board.
Birth certificate can also be considered as proof of date of birth. Apart from this, relaxation in age limit will also be given to lone candidates.
