The 10323 terminated teachers who are on road for since last 47 days demanding permanent government job with direct recruitment has threatened to intensify their protest and served their ultimatum of four days to solve the issue. “We met Secretary of Education Saumya Gupta on January 13 and held a discussion with her regarding our demands and she has agreed with our demands too. She also said that within few days she will replay us. We told that we shall wait till January 16 but she told that she will replay before 16 January. But till today there is no replay” said the teachers. “We are now serving an ultimatum to the state government till January 25 to solve our issue. After 25 January We will blocked National Highway, Railway and many things can happen during the protest for this state government and state, will be responsible. Before also we told that if the government failed to fulfil our demands than we will start protesting undemocratically” added the agitating terminated teachers. If their threat become true than January 26 is going to create another history in Tripura.
