As part of the 77th Independence Day programme, the National Flag was hoisted at the Chief Minister’s official residence on Tuesday morning.
Chief Minister Professor (Dr.) Manik Saha hoisted the national flag. National Anthem was performed by Tripura Police personnel on the occasion. After that the Tripura Police jawans led by Sub Inspector of Tripura Police Balram Debbarma greeted the Chief Minister.
Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Ratanlal Nath hoisted the national flag at the State Secretariat premises . He visited the parade and took salute of the Tripura Police. Hoisting the national flag, the agriculture minister said that it is our responsibility to protect the country with our lives. Identifying the enemies of freedom.
The Agriculture Minister urged to take a pledge to build a developed self-reliant India by 2047.
Deputy Speaker Ramprasad Pal hoisted the national flag in the Assembly premises on Tuesday morning. He visited the parade of the police Force jawans and took salute.
Hoisting the national flag, the Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly paid tribute to the freedom fighters and outlined the context of the Independence Day celebration. All levels of staff working in the Legislative Assembly Secretariat were present in the event.
Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Ratanlal Nath paid tribute to the Father of the Nation by garlanding the statue of Mahatma Gandhi at the statue premises adjacent to Circuit House as part of the Independence Day celebrations.

After that, the Agriculture Minister hoisted the national flag at Gandhighat in Agartala. He paid his respects by placing floral wreaths at Gandhivedi.

On the occasion of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, program was organized at New Raj Bhavan on Tuesday evening. Artists of the state took part in an interesting patriotic cultural program . Governor Satyadeo Narain Arya, first lady Saraswati Devi, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha, Chief Minister’s wife Swapna Saha, Cabinet member Shuklacharan Noatia, Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Ramprasad Pal, MLAs, Tripura High Court Chief Justice Aparesh Kumar Singh, Chief Secretary JK Sinha, State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan and senior officers were present.
On the occasion of the 77th Independence Day celebrations, Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha inaugurated the Voluntary Blood Donation, Body Donation and Eye Donation Camp organized by Agartala Sanhati Club on Tuesday morning.
In the program , the Chief Minister said, we have become independent in exchange of the self-sacrifice of the freedom fighters. Today is the day to pay tribute to them.
He said, we have to protect unity and solidarity. Be respectful to the motherland.
The Chief Minister congratulated those who did body donation, eye donation and participated in voluntary blood donation .
He visited blood donation camps and encouraged them. In this program , 7 people donated body after death and 11 people donated eyes.
