7 Gang Raped Two Minor Girls In West Tripura. Two Minor Accused Arrested

Once again Tripura registered Minor gang rape incident. Now together two minor girls gang raped by seven. The incident took place when law and order is already strict on the occasion of lok sabha elections.
This time two minor girls were gang-raped in the Gangaram tea garden area of Gabardi under Srinagar police station in West Tripura District. Among the seven accused so far, two are minors.
According to the details of the incident, two minor girlss from Ambassa and Khumulwng were brought to Gabordi area by seven people last Monday. The two minors and the accused all belong to the tribal community.
The seven accused gang-raped the two minor girls abducting them overnight. Locals witnessed the incident and handed over the two minors to their families.
At present, the minor victims of Ambassa under Dhalai Distric is under treatment in Dhalai District Hospital. A case has been filed at the Srinagar police station on Tuesday by the family of the victims.
The police registered a case under Section 376 (D) of the Indian Penal Code and the POCSO Act and arrested three people, including two minors, on Tuesday night.
Among these three, one accused, Ajia Debbarma, was arrested from Jarulbachai Dukhia Kabra area.
Srinagar Police Station O C Dilip Debbarma said on Wednesday that the accused Ajia Debbarma has confessed to the incident and the other two accused minors are also being interrogated.
Police said a total of seven people were involved in the incident. The police said that they will also be arrested soon.
Again, the incident of gang rape of two minors has erupted tension . Exemplary punishment is being demanded from all section in such heinous incidents.
