Central Board of Secondary Education on Tuesday announced the Class 12 board examination results, with an overall pass percentage of 85.20 percent.

The pass percentage has dropped by nearly 3 percent compared to last year’s results.

According to the board, a total of 94,028 students scored above 90 percent marks, while 17,113 students secured more than 95 percent.

The Class 12 examinations this year were conducted between February 17 and April 9 across the country. The board evaluated answer scripts through an on-screen marking system to ensure accuracy and transparency in the assessment process.

Students can check their results through the official CBSE website.

Candidates without internet access or facing server-related issues can also receive their subject-wise scores through SMS services.

However, the online scorecards will not be treated as official documents. Students will have to collect their original marksheets and certificates from their respective schools.

No Merit List Or Official Toppers

The CBSE once again decided not to release any merit list or declare official toppers.

The board has also instructed schools and educational institutions not to identify or publicise any student as a school topper or district topper.

The move is aimed at reducing unhealthy academic competition and stress among students.

Girls Outperform Boys

Girls performed significantly better than boys in this year’s Class 12 examinations.

The pass percentage among girls stood at 88.86 percent, while boys recorded a pass percentage of 82.23 percent.

This means girls outperformed boys by 6.73 percentage points.

The board also reported a 100 percent pass percentage among transgender students.
