Delhi CM Rekha Gupta And UP Dy CM Brajesh Pathak Receive Grand Welcome In Tripura

Rekha Gupta and Brajesh Pathak arrived in Tripura on Tuesday amid a warm and enthusiastic reception by BJP leaders, party workers and senior administrative officials.
The two leaders landed at Maharaja Bir Bikram Airport in Agartala, where they were received by Manik Saha, Tripura BJP president Rajib Bhattacharjee and several ministers, legislators and senior government officials.
Party workers gathered at the airport premises carrying BJP flags and raising slogans to welcome the visiting dignitaries. The atmosphere remained festive as supporters greeted the leaders with bouquets and traditional honours.
According to sources, Rekha Gupta and Brajesh Pathak are scheduled to visit the famous Tripura Sundari Temple, popularly known as Matabari, located in Udaipur. The temple is one of the 51 sacred Shakti Peethas and remains one of the most significant religious destinations in the Northeast.
Their visit to the temple has generated excitement among BJP workers and devotees, with local party leaders making elaborate preparations for the occasion.
Speaking to reporters at the airport, Rekha Gupta expressed happiness over visiting Tripura and conveyed her best wishes for the peace, prosperity and overall development of the state. She also praised the hospitality extended by the people and the state government.
Brajesh Pathak also wished for the welfare of Tripura’s people and said the northeastern states are progressing steadily under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP-led governments.
Both leaders thanked Chief Minister Manik Saha for personally receiving them at the airport and for the warm arrangements made during their visit.
Political observers see the visit as significant, especially at a time when the BJP is focusing on strengthening organizational coordination and cultural outreach across the northeastern region.
