International Nurses Day Event Promotes Blood Donation and Healthcare Awareness

On the occasion of International Nurses Day, the State Health Department organized a large voluntary blood donation camp to promote humanitarian service, healthcare awareness and social responsibility.

A huge number of voluntary blood donors participated enthusiastically in the blood donation camp, making the humanitarian programme a major success for the State Health Department.

The voluntary blood donation drive witnessed active participation from healthcare workers, nursing staff, social organisations and members of the public committed to supporting life-saving healthcare initiatives.

A vibrant atmosphere of enthusiasm and public participation was seen throughout the blood donation camp organised as part of the International Nurses Day celebration.

Officials of the Health Department said the overwhelming response from blood donors reflects strong public awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation and social welfare activities.
