Manipur Class 12 Results Out, Pass Rate at 92.23%

The Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur has declared the Class 12 examination results, recording an overall pass percentage of 92.23%. Out of 31,530 enrolled students, 31,259 appeared for the exams, and 28,829 successfully passed. This marks a slight decline from last year’s 94% pass rate.

Despite ongoing challenges in Manipur, the timely announcement of results highlights the education department’s commitment to maintaining the academic calendar.

In the science stream, Takhellambam Kalpana from Comet School and Yohen Longjam from Comprehensive Concept School jointly secured the top position with 490 marks. Pebam Taibanganba Mangang from Millennium Institute of Sciences stood second, while Keithellakpam Wynona Devi from Comet School ranked third with 480 marks.

Government schools performed strongly in the commerce stream. Thoihenba Thongam from CC Higher Secondary School topped with 454 marks, followed by Haorongbam Keniya Devi from TG Higher Secondary School with 433 marks. Athokpam Deny from CC Higher Secondary School secured third place with 431 marks.

In the arts stream, Sarangthem Ayingbi Chanu from Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School emerged as the topper with 470 marks. Pushpa Kakchingtabam from TG Higher Secondary School secured second place with 456 marks, while Cheshabam Nurmiya from the same Enlighten Knowledge Higher Secondary School ranked third with 452 marks.

Ningthoujam Geoffrey, Commissioner of Education (S), congratulated all students and wished them success in their future endeavors. He described Class 12 as a crucial milestone and commended COHSEM for releasing results on time despite difficult circumstances in the state.
