RCB And Gujarat Titans Share Equal Head-To-Head Record

RCB and Gujarat Titans have faced each other eight times in IPL history, with both sides winning four matches each. This season too, both teams registered one victory apiece.

Gujarat Titans won their most recent encounter by four wickets, while Bengaluru had defeated GT earlier in the season by five wickets.

Under captain Rajat Patidar, RCB have developed one of the most explosive batting units this season, crossing the 200-run mark eight times during the league stage.

Star batter Virat Kohli remains Bengaluru’s leading run-scorer with 557 runs, including one century and four half-centuries. Devdutt Padikkal has added three fifties, while Patidar himself has struck four half-centuries this season.

Bengaluru Concerned Over Middle-Order Collapse

RCB’s bowling attack has been strengthened by experienced pacers Josh Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Bhuvneshwar remains the team’s highest wicket-taker this season.

However, Bengaluru’s middle order has struggled in the second half of the tournament. Batters from No. 4 to No. 8 have failed consistently, leading to repeated collapses. Young overseas batter Jacob Bethell has also failed to convert opportunities into impactful scores.

Gujarat Titans Banking On Strong Bowling Attack

Gujarat Titans qualified for the playoffs largely due to their lethal bowling attack and dominant top order. The pace trio of Kagiso Rabada, Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna has consistently troubled opposition batters throughout the season.

Rabada currently leads the Purple Cap standings with 24 wickets, while spin wizard Rashid Khan has picked up 19 wickets.

Captain Shubman Gill has amassed 616 runs this season, while Orange Cap holder Sai Sudharsan has scored 638 runs along with seven half-centuries. Jos Buttler has also contributed heavily with 469 runs.

Four Major Battles To Watch

Virat Kohli vs Kagiso Rabada

The battle between Kohli and Rabada could decide the powerplay momentum on Dharamsala’s bouncy pitch. Rabada has dismissed Kohli four times in IPL cricket.

Phil Salt vs Mohammed Siraj

Returning opener Phil Salt will add aggression to Bengaluru’s batting lineup. However, Siraj has dismissed him twice previously.

Shubman Gill vs Bhuvneshwar Kumar

Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s swing bowling could test Shubman Gill early in the innings. The veteran pacer has dismissed Gill five times.

Rajat Patidar vs Rashid Khan

Patidar is known for attacking spin bowlers aggressively, but Rashid Khan’s variations remain a massive challenge.

Dharamsala Pitch And Weather Report

The HPCA Stadium has witnessed high-scoring encounters throughout IPL 2026. Five out of six innings played at the venue this season have crossed the 200-run mark.

All three matches at Dharamsala were won by teams chasing after opting to bowl first.

Rain, however, remains a major concern. Forecasts suggest nearly an 80 percent chance of rainfall during Tuesday’s clash. If the match gets washed out entirely, RCB will directly qualify for the IPL 2026 final after finishing on top of the points table.
