Tonight the entire civilization in Iran will end: Trump

US President Donald Trump has issued a stark and controversial warning against Iran, suggesting the potential destruction of its “entire civilization,” amid a rapidly escalating conflict in the region.

In a dramatic statement, Trump remarked that a decisive and irreversible moment could unfold, describing it as one that might reshape global history. He framed the situation as a possible turning point after decades of turmoil, while also expressing uncertainty over the eventual outcome.

The remarks come in the wake of coordinated military strikes by the United States and Israel targeting key Iranian infrastructure. Among the most significant targets was Kharg Island, a critical oil terminal responsible for the majority of Iran’s crude exports.

Additional strikes reportedly hit strategic locations including bridges in Qom and Kashan. An attack on a railway bridge near Kashan resulted in casualties, while another strike targeted a highway bridge in the northwestern region.

Earlier, Trump had warned that failure to reopen the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz would trigger further attacks on Iranian assets.

In response, Iran launched retaliatory strikes, including an attack on Sharjah in the United Arab Emirates, signalling a widening conflict. Tehran had previously warned it would respond decisively to any aggression targeting its territory or interests.

The situation remains highly volatile, with fears of broader regional escalation continuing to mount.
