The Tripura unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party has formally rolled out the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Prashikkhan Mahayavijan 2026’, a comprehensive organisational training campaign designed to strengthen the party’s structure from the grassroots to higher levels.
The programme was inaugurated at the state BJP headquarters by Chief Minister Manik Saha, who underscored the strategic importance of continuous training in sustaining and expanding a political organisation. Addressing party workers, mandal-level trainers, and senior leadership, Saha said that structured training remains a cornerstone for ensuring ideological consistency, administrative efficiency, and effective public engagement.
He highlighted that, in line with previous years, the 2026 campaign will deliver detailed modules focusing on party ideology, principles of good governance, and an overview of developmental initiatives undertaken by the BJP-led government. These sessions are intended to equip workers with both conceptual clarity and practical communication skills, enabling them to better connect with citizens at the grassroots level.
The Chief Minister noted that the training curriculum has been developed under the guidance of the party’s central leadership, ensuring alignment with national organisational priorities. He also acknowledged the key role being played by Tripura BJP’s chief spokesperson Subrata Chakraborty in coordinating and executing the programme across the state.
Drawing on the ideological legacy of Deendayal Upadhyay, Saha said the campaign seeks to deepen ideological awareness among workers while reinforcing the party’s outreach mechanisms. He emphasised that the initiative is not merely a training exercise but a broader effort to energise organisational activities and strengthen the BJP’s relationship with the public.
State BJP president Rajib Bhattacharya, who also addressed the gathering, described the campaign as a crucial step toward building a unified and resilient organisational framework. He stressed that the development of skilled, disciplined, and ideologically committed workers is central to the party’s long-term strategy.
Bhattacharya added that well-trained cadres and cohesive teams are essential for effective political mobilisation and governance support. He expressed confidence that the campaign would enhance the capabilities of party workers, improve coordination at various organisational levels, and further consolidate the BJP’s grassroots presence across Tripura.
Overall, the ‘Prashikkhan Mahayavijan 2026’ is positioned as a key organisational initiative aimed at capacity-building, ideological reinforcement, and expanding the party’s reach, particularly at the mandal and booth levels, ahead of future political challenges.
