Tripura Board Results Expected by May 9: TBSE Chief

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education is in the final stages of preparing to announce this year’s Secondary (Madhyamik) and Higher Secondary (HS) examination results, which are now expected to be published by May 9.

Board President Dhananjay Ganachowdhury, while speaking to reporters on Wednesday, confirmed that almost all procedural and administrative work related to the result publication has been completed. This includes evaluation, tabulation, verification of marks, and preparation of final result sheets, indicating that the board is now ready for formal announcement. 

He pointed out that last year the results were declared on April 30, but this year there has been a slight delay. According to him, two primary factors contributed to the revised timeline. First, the conduct of the Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council elections required administrative coordination and deployment of resources, which impacted the schedule. Second, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of candidates appearing for the examinations this year, adding to the workload in evaluation and result processing.

Despite the delay, the board has ensured that all processes are being carried out with accuracy and transparency to maintain the integrity of the results. With preparations nearing completion, students and guardians across the state are now awaiting the official announcement, which is likely within the next few days.
