Investigations revealed that several detained drivers were operating with commercial driving licenses issued by multiple US states, including:

  • Virginia

However, officials also confirmed that some individuals did not possess valid commercial driving licenses at all.

A significant number of the detained drivers were previously issued work permits during the Biden administration. Authorities now claim that many of these documents have either expired or are no longer valid under current enforcement interpretations.
