US-Iran War Latest: US Launches Ninth Consecutive Night of Airstrikes as Regional Tensions Escalate

The United States-Iran conflict intensified further after American forces carried out a ninth consecutive night of military strikes targeting strategic Iranian defence infrastructure. According to U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM),  the operation focused on military headquarters, integrated air defence systems, missile launch facilities, and drone deployment sites across Iran.

The latest offensive marks another significant escalation in the ongoing Middle East conflict, with both Washington and Tehran continuing military operations that are increasing instability across the region.


Massive Fire Erupts at Tabriz Missile Facility

Shortly after the latest US airstrikes, a major fire broke out at the Tabriz missile complex in northwestern Iran.

Residents reported hearing powerful explosions before flames engulfed sections of the installation. The missile base is believed to be operated by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Aerospace Force, one of Iran's most important military units responsible for missile and drone operations.


US Military Casualties Rise

CENTCOM also confirmed the death of an American service member during an operation in northern Iraq.

The soldier was reportedly attempting to dispose of an unexploded Iranian drone when the explosion occurred. Another US soldier sustained injuries and is currently receiving medical treatment.

With the latest casualty, the total number of American military personnel killed since the conflict began has increased to 17.
