Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate a bunch of projects during his poll bound Tripura visit .
Information and Culture Department Minister of Tripura Government Sushanta Chowdhury held a press conference in civil Secretariat on Saturday and informed about various programs of the Prime Minister.
He said that SPG has takes over the security charge of Swami Vivekananda Maidan.
“The rest of the security will be handled by the state police. Meetings were held on these issue time to time. The Prime Minister will land at MBB Airport at 2. 15 pm on December 18. He will be welcomed at the airport by the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Governor, Union State Minister, MP, Director General of State Police, Chief Secretary, District Magistrate and West District Superintendent of Police. He will come Swami Vivekananda Maidan directly from MBB airport. There he will inaugurate house of 1 lakh fifty one thousand nineteen people under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana . At the same time, 54 thousand 526 houses in Urban will participate in the Griha Prabesh ceremony. This ceremony will be done virtually. Also State Institute of Hotel Management at Anandnagar, Kharagpur Amtali Bypass NH 8 Road at Khayerpur, the Government Dental College located at IGM Hospital Agartala will be inaugurated by PM.. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of 32 roads of 232 km length under Gramin Sadak Yojana. He will also lay the foundation stone of 112 road projects, the distance of which is 542 km” informed the ICA Minister.
“A video presentation will be made about the achievements in various fields over the past few years. People from all over the state will be seen flocking to the city. That will break the previous day’s record” Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said.
“About 72 thousand people will attend Swami Vivekananda Maidan. Two special trains will be run from North and South Tripura districts. They will come up to Bhadraghat and Jogendranagar stations. 15 thousand people will come by train from South and North Tripura districts. Apart from this, arrangements have been made to run four special trains” he said.
