In the Lok Sabha, controversial remarks were made by BJP MP Ramesh Bidhuri on BSP MP Danish Ali. Regarding this, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi met Danish Ali at his residence on Friday.
Bidhuri had said some objectionable words targeting Danish Ali during the discussion in the Lok Sabha on the success of Chandrayaan-3 mission on Thursday (September 21).
Union Minister Rajnath Singh had expressed regret over Bidhuri’s remarks.
BSP MP Danish Ali said that if action is not taken against the BJP MP for his derogatory remarks in the Lok Sabha, then he may consider leaving the membership of the House.
He also said that people have not elected him to listen to hate speech.
MP Danish Ali also demanded suspension of Ramesh Bidhuri over his remarks. He has expressed hope that the Speaker will take action in this matter.
The BSP MP said that people saw BJP in the first special session of the new Parliament of New India. On Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas, Danish Ali said, where is this kind of conduct taught? Is this taught in RSS wings?
BSP supremo Mayawati also targeted BJP regarding this matter. She wrote on Twitter that the speaker had removed the objectionable remarks against Danish Ali from the record in the House and warned him, but the party has not yet taken any action against him. This is unfortunate. At the same time, opposition parties took on BJP and Ramesh Bidhuri.
Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that Ramesh Budhuri should be immediately suspended from Parliament.
