Congress leader Rahul Gandhi again raised questions on the issue of Adani on Saturday. He said that he hides the truth, that’s why he misleads everyday. He questioned that to whom is the benami money of Rs 20,000 crore in Adani’s companies? Apart from this, Rahul also linked 5 former Congress leaders with Adani. He shared a photo on Twitter.
In this, the names of five leaders were mentioned through word play puzzle. It includes Ghulam (Nabi Azad) with letter ‘A’ of Adani, Scindia (Jyotiraditya) with letter D, Kiran (Reddy) with ‘A’, Himanta (Biswa Sarma) with ‘N’ and ‘I’ with letter ‘A’ ‘ written with Anil (Antony). He said that I am fighting for the voice of India. I am ready to pay any cost.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma and Anil Antony, son of former Defense Minister and Congress leader AK Antony, who recently joined BJP, have responded to Rahul’s puzzle.
The CM of Assam wrote – Where did you hide the earnings of the National Herald scam, now
Himanta Biswa Sarma will meet in the court. Where have you hidden the earnings of Herald scams? And how many times you let Ottavio Quattrocchi escape from the clutches of Indian law. Now we will meet in the court .
Anil Antony wrote –
After this tweet of Rahul Gandhi, Anil Antony, who recently joined BJP, hit back at him. Anil Antony criticized Rahul Gandhi for tweeting like this and wrote, ‘It is sad to see the former president of a national party, the so-called PM candidate of Congress speaking like an online/social media cell troll and not as a national leader”.
“It is heartening to see my name with these tall stalwarts who have contributed for decades in the cause of nation building, and had to leave the party as they prefer to work for India and our people and not for a family.”
This statement of Rahul came to the fore when, a day earlier, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar gave his different opinion on formation of JPC on Adani issue. In an interview to NDTV on Friday, Sharad Pawar said that it seems he (Adani) is being targeted. He also gave clarification on this issue in Delhi on Saturday. Said that my interview was not on Adani. During this I was asked questions. I told why JPC should not happen?
