BJP Kamalpur mandal secretary Debraj Deb Biswas has been served show cause notice for making adverse comments against Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on social media.
He has been directed to answer within five days as to why action cannot be taken against him on charges of anti-party activities.

It may be noted that recently Kamalpur mandal secretary Debraj Deb Biswas called Dr. Manik Saha as the biggest failed Chief Minister of all time.
This comment of Mandal Secretary has gone viral on social media. Not only that, he had previously made such comments against the local Nagar Panchayat Chairman as well as Mandal President.
Such anti-party comments have caused a strong reaction within the party. A notice has been issued by the party to hold the Kamalpur mandal secretary accountable at a time when a storm of criticism has started pouring in on social media over the situation that has arisen.
Party sources said that if he fails to give a satisfactory reply within the stipulated time, strict organizational action will be taken against him on anti-party charges.
