Internet services have been stopped again in Haryana’s Nuh. The Home Department has banned mobile internet services and bulk SMS in the district from 12 noon on Saturday till 12 midnight on 28 August.
The Home Department has taken this decision as a precautionary measure in view of the announcement by the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) to take out the Brajmandal Yatra again on August 28 in Nuh.
The Nuh district administration has not given permission to VHP and other Hindu organizations to take out the yatra again on August 28, but the Hindu organizations are adamant on taking out the yatra.
Nuh DC Dhirendra Khargata had written a letter to the Home Department on August 25, in order to prevent any kind of violence and rumors in the event of Brajmandal Yatra being rescheduled. It has been recommended to stop since.
A copy of this letter written to the Additional Chief Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs was also sent to the ADGP of Intelligence Wing of Haryana Police.
After receiving DC’s letter, Haryana’s Home Secretary issued orders to stop mobile internet service in Nuh district from 26 August afternoon to 28 August midnight.
Earlier on July 31, during the Brajmandal Yatra of Hindu organizations in Nuh, violence broke out in which 6 people lost their lives.
Then from July 31 to August 13, mobile internet services were kept closed in Nuh district. Internet services were restored at 12 midnight on 13 August when life became normal.
on the other hand Hindu organizations have openly come into the fray to take out the Brajmandal Yatra again on August 28 in Nuh.
On the last Monday of Sawan, August 28, it has been announced to complete the incomplete Brajmandal Yatra.
Although administrative sources have claimed the yatra has been postponed in view of the tension in the district and the G-20 conference, but the VHP has denied it.
The VHP has said that the Braj Mandal Yatra will be completed on August 28 under any circumstances.
VHP’s National Joint General Secretary Surendra Jain said that on August 28, the Braj Mandal Yatra will be taken out in Nuh with a team-force.
The purpose of this visit is not to disturb the Nuh district administration. The yatra will be taken out for Jalabhishek and it is our constitutional right.
According to Dr. Surendra Jain, he has suggested to the Nuh administration that if the administration wants, it is ready to change the number of people in the yatra and the nature of the yatra, but the yatra will take place in any case.
Police has done 3 encounters in Nuh violence case so far. In this, three criminals related to violence have been shot.
He is undergoing treatment in the hospital. On August 24, the Nuh police had an encounter with another accused related to the Nuh violence.
Osama alias Pehalwan, the accused in the Nuh violence case, has been arrested after a police encounter late at 11 pm.
Earlier, the police had arrested accused Amir resident Dhidara Tawdu at 10:30 pm on August 21 and accused Munfed resident Gawarka at 5 am on August 10 after a police encounter.
