The incidents of line gas leak are increasing in Agartala city. During the night of Lakshmi Puja, a PNG gas pipe leaked in the area adjacent to Gandhighat in the city, leading to a major fire incident.
Locals saw the scene of the fire and informed the fire brigade. A total of three fire engines from Agartala fire station and other fire stations rushed to the spot.
Although the fire was quickly brought under control, the entire area was barely saved from the terrible fire.
It is known from the firemen that the fire was caused by mechanical reasons. However, there is no report of any damage in this fire. The fire could not spread as the place was not densely populated. The incident of this fire created a lot of panic in the area among the locals
