Meeting of Tripura State Committee of All India Krishak Sabha held on Thursday. Basically two issues were discussed in the state committee meeting.
Organizational strength and its expansion were discussed in this meeting. At the same time a convention was held with more than 50 members.
The convention basically discussed to turn the peasants’ movement into new streams.
After the meeting on Thursday, the state secretary of the organization hold a press conference . He said the current government is anti-farmer. So farmers have to fight for their rights.
“Because this government is trying to take away the rights of farmers. Therefore, it has been decided to hold a sit-in at the district and divisional head offices on November 26 in solidarity with the farmers’ movement” said Kar.
“Raj Bhavan Abhiyan will be held on November 28. 5 thousand members will participate in this program by marching from Rabindra Bhavan” Kar added.
On the other hand, Hannan Mollah, vice-president of the central committee of the All India Kisan’ Sabha, said that the government and its chief have taken votes by cheating the people. Farmers have been destroyed by three black laws. Farmers’ organizations fought against it. 750 people are martyred . The government was forced to repeal three black laws. The peasant movement created the mass movement.
He said that this program has been adopted across the country to strengthen it.
