Attack Increasing On The Journalists After ‘Won’t Forgive’ Remark Of CM Biplab Deb: Deputation To DGP On Tuesday
Assembly of journalists, the umbrella body of the journalists of tripura, decides to launch bigger movement against the “won’t forgive” media threat remark of chief minister Biplab Kr Deb. After his such remarks incident of attacks on the journalists increasing day by day in the state. Journalist body already has written to the governor Ramesh Bais, seeking his intervention in “transparent running of the government” so the state media can function “freely and fearlessly” within its constitutional rights. But till now no change in the situation. Now the journalists decides to intensify the movement. On Tuesday Tripura ‘Assembly of journalists’ will place deputation to DGP in-charge tripura regarding this matter, demanding arrest of the culprits involved such incidents and also safety and security of the journalists. The journalist body also decides to launch sit in movement for their rights.
