“Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the nation-wide Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Jharkhand on Wednesday. The nationwide program will be launched on Wednesday on the occasion of Birsa Munda’s 148th birth anniversary. The program will be launched in the state as well as across the country from Rabindra Bhavan in Agartala”.
“Apart from this programme, Janjatiya Gaurab Divas and Prati Ghore Sushasan 2:0 campaign will also be officially launched on this day”
Tourism Minister Sushanta Chowdhury said this in a press conference at the Civil Secretariat on Tuesday.
In the press conference, the tourism minister also said that many public welfare projects and services have been launched after the formation of the government at the center under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Bharat Sankalp Yatra will be launched to bring all these schemes and services to the people of the marginal towns of the state and to bring those who are not yet covered under these schemes and services. Tomorrow is Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s 148th birthday. Nationwide this day is observed as Janjatsi Gaur Day. This day will also be celebrated in our state through various programs.
Tourism Minister said that like last year, this year too, in the Good Governance 20 campaign, various projects and services of the central and state governments will be delivered to the people of the marginal towns of the state.
Tourism Minister said that to make the developed Bharat Sankalp Yatra program successful in the state, a committee has been formed with chief secretary at the state level and district magistrates at the district level as chairman.
Moreover, 7 IAS officers have been assigned the responsibility of different districts of the state. They will be responsible for monitoring the evolving Bharat Sankalp Yatra programme. Moreover, the members of the state cabinet have also been given the responsibility of various districts.
He said, our state is progressing in various areas in implementing the development program. It is through the participation of people from every part of the state that the developed Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Sushasan 20 Abhiyan per Ghar will be successful.
Secretary of the Department of Information and Culture Pradiip Kumar Chakraborty said, Tomorrow, these three programs of Janjati Gaurav Divas, Bhavan Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Good Governance 2.0 per house will be inaugurated by the initiative of the state government. Janjati Gaurav Day will be celebrated for 3 days at Swami Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala. On this occasion, various programs such as exhibition of products produced by self-help groups, discussion , cultural programs will be organized. Apart from this, the Bharat Sankalp Yatra and Good Governance 2.0 program will be launched simultaneously from Wednesday.
In the press conference, the secretary of the Information and Culture Department said that camps will be organized at the village level, village committee level, block level and district level on the occasion of Good Governance 2.0 campaign. In these camps people will be provided immediate benefits of various government schemes. Also, those projects where it is not impossible to capitalize on immediate benefits will be provided after various processes. Reports will be collected from each district on how Sushasan 20 campaign is going in each house. Later these reports will be evaluated and those who do well will be rewarded.
The state cabinet members have been given the responsibility of various districts in order to make the journey of good governance and developed Bharat Sankalp Yatra a success. Among them, Agriculture Minister Ratanlal Nath will be in charge of West District, Finance Minister for South Tripura District Pranajit Sinharai, People’s Welfare Minister Bikas Debbarma for Khowai District, Industry and Commerce Department Minister Santbana Chakma for North Tripura District, Cooperatives Minister for Gomati District Shuklacharan Noatia, Tourism Minister Sushant Chowdhury for Sushanta Chowdhury. , Sports Minister Tinku Roy for Unkoti district and Scheduled Tribe Welfare Minister Sudhanshu Das for Dhalai district.
