Speculation ends. Tripura Pradesh Congress Party suffered a major setback ahead of the by-elections of Boxnagar and Dhanpur assembly constituencies.
The former minister of the state and former Congress leader Billal Miah joined the BJP party with his followers.
At the same time, Abul Khair, the expelled leader from Tipra Matha party, also joined the BJP party with his followers.
Ahead of the 20th Boxanagar Assembly Constituency by-election, an election rally was organized by the initiative of BJP on Thursday in support of the BJP candidate of Boxanagar Constituency, Tafazzal Hussain.
A joining program also was held at Kulubari of Boxnagar constituency. Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha was present there.
In the joining program , former state minister and former Congress leader Billal Miah joined the BJP party with his followers.
Chief Minister, the state BJP president and other leaders accepted them by handing over the BJP party flag to Billal Mia and Abul Khair.
Later, while addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister strongly criticized the Congress and the CPIM.
The Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha said that the declining party is the Congress party. In the next few days there will be no more people in the Congress party. Only dramatists will remain. People of Tripura never loved CPIM. CPIM was in power in the state for many years only because of the gangsters. For years, people have been killed, raped, Seen post-election terror.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha claimed that there has not been a single political murder since the establishment of the BJP government in 2018.
The Chief Minister urged everyone to have faith in the present government. He said that this time whoever is elected as MLA from Boxanagar will get the opportunity to work for almost four years.
Bad roads in Boxanagar will be improved. After the establishment of the present government, the social pension has been increased to Rs 2 thousand. The present state government is working with transparency.
The Chief Minister claimed that the number of seats of CPIM will decrease to 10 in this by-election. CPIM party is also a declining party at present. There will be no other party in the state of Tripura.
The Chief Minister strongly criticized the alliance of Congress and CPIM. The Chief Minister said clearly that the work is not over. Much work remains. Problems of common people has to be solved. The previous government did politics by keeping people’s problems alive.
The current government is a problem-solving government. The current government does not believe in the politics of division. The previous government practiced the politics of division. BJP wants to run with all the people of the nation, he said.
In the joining program , about eight thousand voters of about 1900 families left the opposition party and joined the BJP party under the leadership of former state minister Billal Miah and Tipra Motha party leader Abul Khair.
