After being elected as the member of Rajya Sabha, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb delivered an emotional speech in the Tripura Assembly on the last day of the monsoon session on Monday which was also the last session of this present government.
Thanking to all the members of the Legislative Assembly, members, officials, journalists and sought blessings of all for the success in the work as an MP.
Deb left the Assembly by shaking hands and saluting Opposition leader Manik Sarkar, Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman from Chief Minister Manik Saha, Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Debbarma including every MLA.
In his last speech in the state assembly Biplab Deb said that:
“I express my gratitude to all the respected
members of the holy assembly by this twelfth session of the 12th assembl”
“The way I have received everyone’s support
since 2018 as the leader of the house I have full belief that I will get the valuable suggestions and proposals of the honorable member of the House in the future”
“This support valuable suggestions and proposals of the members will help in execution as Rajya Sabha MP in the interest and development of the state of Tripura”
Notably Biplab Deb has been sent in the Rajya Sabha by BJP High Command after his resignation from the Chief Minister post of Tripura.
