In the last Rajya Sabha session, MP Biplab Kumar Deb discussed various issues related to the interests of Tripura.
On Tuesday, he organized a press conference and presented details about this session.
According to him he raised a total of 17 questions in the parliament. One of them is to make environment subject compulsory in schools. British law still prevails in India. Revising those laws etc.
He also said that there were various discussions about the development of the state. In response to a question to minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, he said that funds were sought from the state government to open an airport in Kailasahar. But he replied that the state government cannot provide this fund now.
However, the state government can provide land for the construction of the airport, said MP Biplab Kumar Deb.
He also said that he has written to MD of NHDCL for speedy repair of Kumarghat-Kailashhar-Kamalpur road for a long time. The MP said that there has been a detailed discussion on how to take the queen pineapple, which is produced in the state and is famous abroad, to market it worldwide.
On the other hand, talking about the by-elections to be held in the state, he said that Tipra is not a factor. BJP will win the by-election. But only BJP government is working for the people of the state.
