Birchandra State Central Library Reopens With SOP In Place From Wednesday

Birchndra State Central Library in Agartala reopened on Wednesday with standard operating procedure in place. Readers will have to wear masks all the time and maintain distance in the library. The library authority has introduced a number of changes to the way the library operates to keep the public as safe as possible. As well as a new booking system, there is also be one-way systems, book quarantine and reduced visitor numbers. Senior Citizens and children are not allowed due to covid19 guidelines. Birchandea State Central Library reopen to the public on Wednesday for the first time since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic in the state. This library is Northeast India’s first digital library with around 16870 ebooks and journals.
