MLA Sudip Roy Barman said this while facing the media during the rally organized to celebrate the 134th birthday of the country’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on Tuesday.
On this day, the national flag, the party flag and the flags of various wings of the Congress were hoisted in front of the Congress Bhavan.
Pradesh Congress President Ashish Kumar Saha and others were present. After hoisting the flag, all present paid tribute to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru by offering flowers to him.
Later, a huge rally was organized in front of the Tripura Pradesh Congress Bhavan. The rally ends at the Gandhi Ghat . All those present paid tribute to the martyrs by placing flowers on the martyr altar there.
Later in an interview, Congress MLA Sudip Roy Barman also said that children are being killed is going on in the name of war between Gaja and Israel. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday is very significant at this time. Our demand is immediate end to infanticide in the name of war.
He also said that Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru has created the foundation of India’s development.
