BJP National Working Committee Meet On Jan 16-17

BJP National Working Committee meeting will be held in Delhi on January 16 and 17.

The last meeting of the National Working Committee was held in Hyderabad on July 2 and 3.

According to BJP sources, the meeting of the working committee will discuss the seven state assemblies and next year’s Lok Sabha polls.

Assembly elections will be held in five major states like Karnataka, Telangana, Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh this year.

Besides, there are votes in Tripura and Meghalaya in the North East.

In Tripura, Madhya Pradesh and Karnataka BJP is running the government with single power.

On the other hand, Congress is in power in Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh. Telangana Rashtra Samithi is in power in Telangana.

BJP is determined to come to power in Telangana. They are still less optimistic about Congress-ruled Rajasthan and Chhattisgarh.

The party is worried about retaining the government in Tripura and Karnataka.

The polls in seven states are being viewed by political circles as semi-finals ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

In this context, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will give direction to the party on 2024.

Six months ago, at the working committee meeting in Hyderabad, Modi gave a message to the party to stand by the Dalit minority.

BJP has started taking separate programs for backward Muslims. Now let’s see what the Prime Minister said in the Delhi meeting.

The upcoming meeting will discuss the results of assembly elections in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh and Delhi.

There are questions about BJP president JP Nadda’s role in the defeat in Himachal. The BJP president shouldered the burden of polling in his home state Himachal.

Nadda’s tenure as president is ten months. As expected, his first term ends before the next Lok Sabha polls. The next meeting of the working committee may give an indication whether the BJP will contest the next Lok Sabha elections by keeping him in the seat of the president.
