RSS activist tea worker has been nominated by the BJP for the 2023 elections in Tripura.
Addressing a press conference Tripura BJP said:
“BJP has not only given political recognition to these workers but is trying to enrich them economically step by step. Daily wages have been increased. Seven thousand 230 Chabagan families have been given pattas”
“BJP has given opportunity to live socially along with economic prosperity. This society nominated a tea worker to raise the matter in the state assembly”.
Speaking in the press conference Santosh Saha, head of BJP’s Tea workers cell, also said that tea worker Dilip Tanti has been nominated from 54 Kadamtala – Kurti – Assembly constituency.
Saha congratulated the Prime Minister, BJP State President, Chief Minister for this decision.
He said that more than 9 thousand tea workers live in this Assembly Constituency. He also said that this decision is the first in the history of the state. Candidate Dilip Tanti, BJP spokesperson Asmita Banik were also present on this day.
