The Tripura Board Of Secondary Education is contemplating to defer its board examination schedule for the month of March due to the covid19 outbreak. Board is monitoring the central board and would set the time table for the board examination accordingly. “We have relaxed the schedule of online registration and enrollment due to the covid19 pandemic which has affected the schools in remote areas” said Bhabatosh Saha, President, TBSE. The online registration for the board exam had started on November 7 and is likely to end on December 7 next. Till the deadline of online registration only 50% of the schools could complete the registration. We haven’t revised the deadline. However the schools have been instructed to continue with the registration process. This is for the first time therefore we have allowed the schools to continue with the process” Saha added. “According to the annual calendar the bord exam take place in the month of March. Now the exam might be deferred till mid April or May. We are following the CBSE Board. Since they haven’t announced the exam date we are also waiting for them” said President TBSE.
