Buddhists celebrated kathin chibor dan festival In Tripura on Sunday.
Kathin Chibor Danotsav was held at Benuban Vihar in Kunjavan, Agartala.
This is one of the biggest festival of Buddhist.
From Sunday (November 5) morning, Buddhist men and women of various ages came to Benuban Vihar and gathered.
On this day, Buddhist monks first pray for world peace.
Then the World Buddhist Flag was hoisted. Later Panchsheel reception, Buddha worship, Pinda Arpan to monks and pilgrims were entertained.
The Tishak Chibor donation ceremony, Dharma Deshana and Kammabacha reading of the monks were held on this day.
After that, the Buddhists who came to the ceremony of Kathin Chibor Dan festival dedicated various daily necessities, clothes and packaged food to their god Lord Buddha .
Like other years, this year also a large number of people gather in Benuban Vihar on the occasion of the festival.
