Tripura pradesh congress organized protest agitation against the central farm law on Saturday through Kisan sammelan. This is a nationwide protest program against the central farm act passed by Parliament recently. Addressing the sammelan tripura pradesh congress president pijush kanti biswas said “the way in which the Government of India is bulldozing anti-farmers law in Parliament is totally unacceptable to the country and the people of India” “This is a black law passed with an aim to help some corporate sector, which are friend of Modi and are funding him to win the election,” added PCC president. Congress plans to continue its opposition to the farm laws passed last month politically and is unlikely to move the Supreme Court against the legislation. “we are starting a massive signature campaign. We will collect 2 crore signatures from farmers throughout India and we will submit the memorandum on Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru’s birthday, November 14th, to the President of India,” said congress.
