Chaitra Mela (Bengali Year ending sale fair) started from Tuesday in Agartala.
The fair will continue till next fourteenth April. Like other years, this year also the Agartala Municipal corporation has given the
opportunity to small businessmen for free of
charge.
Chaitra Fair is being organized in the area of
Shakuntala Road and Jackson Gate.
Many people especially from village and poor section wait whole year to buy from Chittra fair.
The tradres said that things are sold at low prices in Chaitra fair.
“No revenue collected from the small businessesmen and hawkers participated in the fair” said Agartala Municipal Corporation.
