Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha lays the foundation stone of a 100-beds girls hostel for tribal girls at Sabroom Class XII School on Thursday.
Speaking in the program he said:
“The present government is working for the development of the people of all parts of Tripura. Keeping this slogan Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas in front, the work of implementation of various public welfare programs is progressing in Tripura”
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the canteen of Veenapani Swasahayak Dal in this school on this day.
On the occasion, the Chief Minister said that the current Tripura government is working on the highest priority to improve the living standards of the people. All-out efforts have been taken to ensure that the benefits of various government schemes reach the people door-to-door.
Emphasizing on strengthening the integration of both caste and people in the small state of Tripura, the Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the current Tripura government is working to make the state a front-line state in the country.
Seeking the cooperation of people from all sections, the Chief Minister said that Tripura’s performance in various fields, starting from education, is getting praise in the country. Various initiatives have been taken in the field of education so that the children of the state can compete in the all-India level.
The Chief Minister said that the Tripura government has taken special initiatives to advance women in various fields. 33 percent seats are reserved for them in government jobs. The number of self-help groups formed with the aim of making women financially self-reliant.
He said that the government of Tripura is delivering various government facilities to people’s homes through the good governance program.
125 schools have been brought under Vidyajyoti Vidyalaya scheme for development in education sector, he added.
He said that along with education, students should be developed more through sports, music, yoga etc. Students should develop good relationship with teachers.
