Civil Service Day Celebrated In Tripura

Civil Service Day was celebrated in Agartala, the capital of Tripura, India.  

State Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha was present as the chief guest at the function organized on the occasion of the day on Friday afternoon.

State Chief Secretary JK Sinha, Acting Inspector General of Police (DG) L Darlong and Chief Forest Officer SK Shetty were also present.  

Awards are given at district sub-divisional and block level for remarkable work.

Sipahijala, South and Unkoti districts, Hrishyamukh, Ambassa, and Tepania block received awards for such work.

The Chief Minister said in his speech that the message of this year’s Civil Service Day is developed India.

The significance of this word is huge. Here is the message of taking development to the last level of society.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi is working towards that aim. All the work of the government is done by the hands of these civil service officers. 

Therefore, he urged them to work more seriously.

Calling for the importance of setting up more industrial plants by utilizing the state’s natural resources, he said that various agricultural crops produced in the state are now being exported in large quantities. 

“More work needs to be done for the idevelopment of the state” he added.
