CM Manik Saha Attended Consultation Workshop With Tribal Leaders

“The current government is trying to take everyone along. The government is working to maintain transparency for the people. So development of the state is possible”

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said this while speaking at a consultation workshop with tribal leaders organized at Pragna Bhavan in the capital Agartala on Friday.

He said that the government is working with importance on how to solve people’s problems. So the graph of this government is upward facing in the country and state. And the graph of conspirators is downward.

Speaking in the workshop organized on this day, the Chief Minister also said that law and order in the state is in a good place at present. Tripura has never had a peaceful and fair election like the previous assembly elections. But the miscreants have variously tried to mislead people by falsely alleging that the law and order situation in the state has deteriorated. But the state’s law enforcement ranks third lowest among 28 states in the country, according to a report by the National Bureau of Crime.

Speaking about giving proper respect to the tribal of the state, the Chief Minister said that the airport has been named after Maharaja Bir Bikram Kishore Manikya.

“Statue of Maharaja Bir Bikram , the shaper of modern Tripura, has been installed in the Kaman Chowmuhani area of the capital Agartala. The government is working with importance on how the tribal of the state can develop themselves together” said CM.

Chief Minister criticized that in the past days, the various political parties have used the tribal as a vote bank.

Minister of Tribal Welfare Department Bikas Debbarma, Minister Santana Chakma along with administrative officers and social workers were also present in the organized workshop.
