“The world is a stage. Everyone here is a dramatist” On Monday, Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurated the 11-day state-wide Drama festival at Rabindra Bhaban.

The Department of Information Culture is trying for that. Drama is a powerful social medium in the world. Drama can play a significant role in pointing society in the right direction. Because drama is the mirror of life. The reflection of the society emerges in the play. Drama plays a major role in creating public awareness among people.
The history of drama in the state is very old. The Department of Information and Culture is making efforts in various ways to make the theater industry more prosperous in the state.
High-quality actors and actresses will come out of this eleven-day theater festival.
Notably 21 plays will be staged during the 11-day festival. Two plays will be staged each evening. More than three hundred artists are participating in this festival. Prominent dramatist of the state Manik Dutta handed over mementos of festival greetings to the Chief Minister and guests of the event.
