Several development projects are underway across the state. Especially in the Akhaura Road area of the capital Agartala, the construction of the light house project is going on. On the other hand, Township project of TUDA is going on in Kaman Chowmuhani and Kunjban areas.
Construction of multi-level car parking and commercial complex is underway in the old motor stand area also.
Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inspected the construction sites on Monday.
Chief Minister first went to inspect the work of Township Projects of TUDA. After inspection of the work of flats under construction in Kaman Chowmuhani and Kunjban areas, the Chief Minister said that the work is going on well. Those who have quoted these flat construction work have ample experience. All the flats of Kaman Chowmuhani project have already been booked. 60 per cent flats have been booked in Kunjaban.
Then the Chief Minister went to Matangini Pritilata Hall and Rabindra Bhavan in the capital. After visiting the Matangini Pritilata Hall and Rabindra Bhavan, the Chief Minister said that the chairs of Matangini Pritilata Hall are old. Officials have been directed to look into that. Many problems have been noticed in Rabindra Bhavan. Reforms are needed. Ordered to complete the work quickly.
The chief minister said that the money required for the renovation has already been allocated. After visiting Rabindra Bhavan, the Chief Minister went to the Old Motor Stand area. Inspects the multi-level car parking and commercial complex under construction there.
Later Chief Minister went to Government Art College and Music College. The Chief Minister inspected everything in Art College and Music College.
Later, the Chief Minister said that multi-level car parking will be constructed in the old motor stand area and 300 cars can be parked in the commercial complex. There will be a star hotel there.
Apart from this, the Chief Minister directed students of Art College to look into whether counters can be opened to earn money by selling various hand-made items.
Finally, the Chief Minister inspected the construction work of Light House under construction in Akhaura Road area.
