State Health Minister and Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha once again visited Agartala Government Medical College and GBP Hospital to check the actual picture of medical services .
He visited various important wards of GBP Hospital on Thursday night. Apart from this, he was informed extensively about the overall infrastructure of the entire hospital from the concerned health officials.
Along with this, he ordered to take all necessary steps to further develop the medical services of the state.
Chief Minister’s Office Secretary Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, Health Department Secretary Dr. Debashis Basu, GB Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Shankar Chakraborty, Deputy Superintendent Dr. Kanak Chowdhury and other responsible officials were with the Chief Minister during the visit.
During the visit, the Chief Minister was briefed on various aspects related to the hospital’s infrastructure and services by the GBP Medical Superintendent and Deputy Superintendent.
On this day, Chief Minister visited several important health departments of GBP. From Medicine Ward to Imagery Ward, he also visualized state-of-the-art machinery. Talked to the patients and their families in the hospital.
Besides, Chief Minister Dr. Saha gave important instructions to the concerned officials to take necessary measures for the further development of GBP medical services.
