‘Complete Restructure Of Tipra Motha In 30 Days’: Pradyot Holds Meeting With Party Leaders

On Saturday, a meeting was held with MDCs, party MLAs and all district and block level leaders of the Tipra Motha party.

Pradyot Kishore Debbarman Chief of the party took several decisions after consulting the party leaders in the meeting. 

“In the next 25-30 days primary level, central level and core committee will be fully constituted of Tipra Motha and its wings, YTF, TWF. And in the coming days party will take the field with demands of Greater Tipraland, constitutional rights, passage of Customary Law Bill, election of village councils, and Kokborok in Roman script”he said. 

He also said, now is the time to leave the house. The party will go to the people. 

Pradyot said that he will not step back an inch.

Notably Tipra Motha was established in TTAADC two years ago. Since then it has been organizing continuous agitations for various demands including Greater Tipraland. But the movement is not getting any kind of response.

Even though it did not do well in the last assembly elections, it has snatched the place of the main opposition party from the CPIM. 

Then Pradyot Kishore Debbarman, Supremo of the party announced various times that the interlocutors would come to the state to fulfill the constitutional rights. But the interlocutor did not arrived in the state. 

Delegation of Motha went Raj Bhavan on Friday to meet Governor with several bills of TTAADC which are not being passed. But Pradyot led delegation could not meet the Governor. 

So the party supremo Pradyot Kishore now wants to change the contours of the movement.
