Cong Leader Sachin Pilot Holds Hunger Strike Against His Own Govt

Former Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot’s one-day fast against his own government has ended in 5 hours.

At around quarter to 4, the supporters of the pilot broke the fast by feeding him sweets. After the fast, the pilot said that I had kept the fast only for the purpose of taking action against corruption. If it was about the organization, I would have talked to the organization. For the whole year I was demanding from the Chief Minister.

Pilot said that we have a zero tolerance policy against corruption, so action should also be taken. I hope action will be taken. Our struggle against corruption will continue, we want that there should be clean politics in the country and the state.

Pilot was sitting on a fast against the CM Gehlot government, demanding an inquiry into the scams that took place during the rule of BJP CM Vasundhara Raje.

He reached at the place of Hunger strike in the morning with his supporters. It was being said that he may take a different political line, but so far he has not made any such announcement.

Here, after the pilot’s fast started, Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot issued a video message and once again reiterated the point of Mission 2030. He said- I have decided that by 2030, Rajasthan has to be made the number one state of the country.

In the midst of the pilot’s fast, political meaning is also being extracted from repeating the mission 2030.

Regarding Sachin Pilot’s fast, Pawan Kheda said in Delhi that General Secretary Jairam Ramesh will issue a statement on this issue in the evening.

Congress, Rahul-Sonia disappeared from the poster
Neither the photo of Rahul-Sonia nor the symbol of Congress was put in the posters put up at the protest site.

Only Mahatma Gandhi’s photo was put up. On the other hand, State Congress in-charge Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa canceled his visit to Jaipur. He was scheduled to reach Jaipur later this afternoon to hold talks with the pilot. Now he can come to Jaipur on Wednesday. He had termed Pilot’s action as anti-party on yesterday.

Pilot had announced the fast in the press conference on Sunday. In dharna, his supporters from all over the state reached Jaipur. Earlier, the leaders and MLAs of the Pilot group had sent a message to selected supporters to reach Jaipur.

This was the first time in the last two decades of fasting against one’s own government under the Congress rule.

It is worth noting that on April 9, Pilot had said in a press conference that we had leveled allegations of corruption worth Rs 45,000 crore against the Vasundhara government and had promised to investigate and take action after coming to power, but after four and a half years even the government did not take any action. I wrote a letter to Chief Minister Gehlot twice in this regard, but did not get any response, so I am sitting on hunger strike demanding action
