Congress held a protest rally in the city agartala protesting the increase of property tax and electricity tariff.
On Saturday , the rally traveled different roads of the city Agartala.
Later, a delegation placed a deputation before the Commissioner of Agartala Municipal Corporation .
Speaking with the press Congress Sadar District committee leadership said that by increasing the electricity tariff, the burden has been unethically imposed on the shoulders of the common people of the state.
“On the other hand Agartala Municipal Corporation AMC has increased the property tax in one leap, which cannot be accepted in any way” they said.
“Our demand is immediate withdrawal of such anti people decisions” said Congress.
