Congress MP Jairam Ramesh has said something about the new Parliament building that has enraged the BJP.
Jairam Ramesh has described the new Parliament building as ‘Modi multiplex’. He tweeted that when the government changes in 2024, the new building of Parliament House will be used better.
He tweeted, ‘The new Parliament House launched with so much publicity actually embodies the PM’s objectives well. It should be called Modi Multiplex or Modi Marriott’.
He said that the talks inside both the houses and in the lobby have ended.
On this, BJP President JP Nadda, while replying to Jairam Ramesh on X, said that according to the lowest standards of the Congress party, call this a bad mentality or call it pathetic. This is an insult to the 140 crore people of India. Apart from this there is nothing else.
He said, ‘This is not the first time that Congress has been anti-Parliament. An attempt was made to do this by Congress in 1975 also, in which they failed miserably’.
Union Minister Giriraj Singh has also lodged an objection to Jairam Ramesh’s statement. Giriraj Singh has also tweeted in this regard.
Giriraj Singh wrote in this regard, ‘I demand that there is a need to evaluate and rationalize the ‘bastions of dynasties’ all over India. The Begin 1 Safdarjung Road complex should be immediately transferred back to the Government of India. Given that all Prime Ministers now have a place in the PM Museum”.
Let us tell you that Jairam Ramesh had also said in his statement that there was a pride in the old Parliament House. It was easy to move between the two halls and the central hall and corridors.
