Convoy Of Chinese Engineers Attacked In Pakistan

A convoy of Chinese engineers working in an infrastructure project in Pakistan’s port city Gwadar was attacked by two Balochist terrorists.

It has been said in the report that both the terrorists were shot during this attack and no Chinese engineer or other Pakistani citizen was injured in this.

A large number of Chinese nationals are currently working in the port of Gwadar in Balochistan province, which is being built in China’s Xinjiang province as part of the so-called $60 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor or CPEC.

BLA Majeed Brigade today targeted a convoy of Chinese engineers in Gwadar. “The attack is still ongoing,” the separatist group said in a statement on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Pakistani Senator Sarfaraz Bugti posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “I strongly condemn the heinous terrorist attack on the convoy of Chinese workers in Gwadar. Thankfully, there was no loss of life, But there are reports that the ambush was foiled and the attackers were killed.”

Sarfaraz Bugti said, “The rift within terrorists is widening by the day, as our armed forces are courageously thwarting their nefarious designs. There is no punishment for anyone who casts an evil eye on Pakistan.”

India has opposed the CPEC project because it passes through Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), which is part of Jammu and Kashmir and hence Indian territory. China has claimed that this plan has nothing to do with territorial disputes.
